NOW CRICKET GETS VIRTUAL REALITY





Ever wondered watching cricket at home with the complete experience of cricket stadium ?

STAR INDIA,  the official broadcaster of VIVO IPL, is banking on technology to increase the viewership in digital space. This IPL will be available in virtual reality format on hot star .

There are two ways to view IPL in VR on hotstar.First is through VR glasses available in the market. Second is to pause match at any given time and swipe or tilt the phone to get 360 degree view of the ground.




With cricket season in full swing now cricket fans can even try out their batting skills with virtual reality game developed by stickee in collaboration with university of bath. The game called balls ! Virtual reality cricket uses vive virtual reality headset and is available to download on steam games store.
Gamers can play against their friends and adjust difficulty level by choosing different bowler and speed.

A 190 cm tall humanoid robot made by a team of Engineers at Toyota .It made its recent debut with local professional Alvark Tokyo team.
It is most likely design for the exhibition purpose to show abilities of robot. The biggest challenge for the robot like CUE is to create and sustain a consistent place for them in the world of sports.
